What is Social Genie and how does it work?+
Social Genie is an AI-powered social media management platform for businesses. It helps you generate and schedule content, respond to customer messages on Facebook and Instagram, capture leads through your website chat widget, and monitor reviews from one dashboard. You set up your business profile, connect your channels, and the AI handles routine work around the clock.
Which platforms do you support?+
Social Genie currently supports Facebook, Instagram, and an embeddable website chat widget. You can manage messages, content, and reputation insights from a single workspace. See our pricing page for plan limits on connected accounts.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every paid plan includes a 14-day free trial so you can explore the platform before committing. There is no free plan forever. After the trial, paid plans start at $29/month. You can cancel anytime during or after the trial.
How do I connect my social accounts?+
From your dashboard, connect Facebook and Instagram through each platform's official authorization flow. We never ask for your social media passwords. You can disconnect accounts at any time from your workspace settings.
AI & Features
How does the AI learn my brand voice?+
During setup, you add brand guidelines, tone preferences, FAQs, and sample content. Social Genie uses this information to shape your posts and replies. The more context you provide, the more consistent your messaging becomes across every channel.
What does Social Genie automate?+
Social Genie can generate monthly content calendars with captions and hashtags, reply to customer messages on connected channels, capture and organize leads, and help you track review sentiment. Higher-tier plans unlock more workspaces, social accounts, AI posts, and team seats.
Can I add the chat widget to my website?+
Yes. Social Genie includes an embeddable website chat widget powered by your configured AI assistant. Add a short script to your site, set your business ID and branding options, and visitors can start conversations that appear in your dashboard.
What happens if the AI makes a mistake?+
You can refine the AI with updated guidelines and FAQs, monitor conversations in your dashboard, and escalate chats to your team when a human response is needed. Keeping your training content accurate is the best way to improve results over time.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure with Social Genie?+
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. We do not sell your personal data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Do you store my social media passwords?+
No. Social accounts are connected through official platform integrations and OAuth flows. We do not ask for or store your social media passwords. You authorize access through each platform and can revoke it at any time.
Do you share my data with third parties?+
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service, such as with hosting, email, payment, authentication, and AI infrastructure providers, or with connected platforms you authorize. Workspace members may also access information according to their role and permissions.
Pricing & Billing
What plans are available?+
We offer three paid plans: Starter at $29/month, Growth at $49/month, and Pro/Business at $99/month. Each plan includes different limits for workspaces, connected social accounts, AI-generated posts, and team members. Annual billing is also available with savings compared to monthly billing. Can I change my plan later?+
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from your account. Upgrades typically take effect immediately. Downgrades usually apply at the end of your current billing cycle. There are no long-term contracts.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Subscriptions are processed through secure checkout via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards supported by our payment provider. Billing is handled monthly or annually depending on the option you choose.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?+
Each plan includes limits on workspaces, social accounts, AI-generated posts, and team seats. If you need more capacity, you can upgrade to a higher plan. Limits reset according to your billing cycle.
Account & Team
Can I manage multiple businesses?+
Yes. Social Genie uses business workspaces so you can organize content, conversations, and settings separately for each brand. The number of workspaces depends on your plan, from 1 on Starter up to 10 on Pro/Business.
Can I invite team members?+
Team member seats are available on Growth and Pro/Business plans. You can invite colleagues to your workspace with role-based access so they can help manage content, conversations, and settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
You can cancel anytime from your account billing settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. If you need help, contact us at support@socialgenie.com.
